Use this page as the starting hub for setup, troubleshooting, and customer instructions.

Free plugin setup

  1. Install the ZIP through WordPress.
  2. Customize welcome message, chat color, and online/offline status.
  3. Set notification email.
  4. Test chat in a private browser.

Pro plugin setup

  1. Purchase or create a Pro license key.
  2. Install Zily Assist Pro.
  3. Enter the license key in Zily Assist settings.
  4. Enable Pro tools such as uploads, notifications, and exports.

Troubleshooting

If chat does not appear, clear caching plugins, check that the plugin is active, and make sure your theme includes the normal WordPress footer hook.
