Licensing

How Zily Pro licensing works.

Zily.ca acts as the license server. Paid Pro installs validate their license key against Zily.ca before Pro features unlock.

Manual first version

  1. Install Zily License Server on Zily.ca.
  2. Create a customer license key in the Zily Licenses admin screen.
  3. Send the license key after purchase.
  4. The customer enters the key in Zily Assist Pro.

Future automatic version

  1. Customer buys Pro through checkout.
  2. Payment succeeds.
  3. License key is generated automatically.
  4. Customer gets download and license email.

Important

Do not place the Pro ZIP in a public download folder. Keep Pro downloads protected behind checkout, customer account access, or manual delivery until a full purchase system is connected.
